Tennis love.

Federer won the French Open yesterday: 6-1, 7-6, 6-4. Watching the match just made me remember my trip to Roland Garros and maybe just a little bummed I couldn't be there again. The French Open is probably one of my favorite memories from study abroad.

Don't be jealous...

Most of you know already, but I have a new niece! She is adorable and just fits so snugly in your arms when you hold her:)

P.S. technology is so awesome. Can't believe I can upload images from my phone!

My Earth Day...

The Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point did not disappoint this year. I went on Earth Day with Rachel and Lauren. Is there a better way to celebrate how amazing our planet is than strolling through these flowers? It's gotta be one of the best ways, at least. I loved spending time with these two and getting to see Rachel's ADORABLE little boy (see below). The tulips were soooooo pretty and the weather was perfect.

earth

I absolutely cannot wait for this movie. I am obsessed with Planet Earth and to have them team up with Disney just makes this production ten times better.

The little duck flying out of the tree gets me every time.

Reasons why...

I love Roger Federer.

Just to name a few and in no particular order:

1. He's pretty much the classiest guy tennis could ask for right now
2. He is AMAZING at what he does
3. His incredible talent demonstrates what a committed and passionate person he is
4. and he's not bad to look at either

Dear Roger:
You can be my
 knight in shinning armor anytime;)
Love,
Allison

I can't wait to see how he plays out the season!

Summer?

I just heard the ice cream truck for the first time this year... and no one can convince me I didn't.

The fact that it's St. Patrick's Day just makes it that much better.

Tulips...

Although the wind couldn't seem to control itself today, the warm weather and a little bit of sun made me feel like spring is maybe closer than I had thought and then I realized that means tulips!
The Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point is April 17 - May 2 this year... only a little over a month away... and you better believe I'm going to be there.
