Something I really love about my dad...

His one-liners. Well, I don't think they would really be called one liners, but I don't really know what to call them.

Example.

When someone helps him fix something:

Dad: "Thank you. I'll put you back in my will."

Person: "Haha. Well, thank *you*!"

Dad: "I'll leave you the utility bills."

Person: "Hahaha."

Gets a laugh every time. And most of the time, it's a pretty sincere laugh.

Example.

Usually to one of my friends, but really to anyone:

Dad: "Be good. But if you can't be good have fun."

That's one of my favorites.

I hear these so often that I don't really think about them anymore, but they're just one of the reasons I love my dad.

St. George...

I went to St. George with my friends Natalie, her brother Niels, and Benson. We stayed with the Schmutz family. They were some of the coolest/nicest/FUNNIEST people I have ever met. I laughed harder on this trip than I have in a long time!

Lessons in photography...

(From my road trip to California)

Not that I'm trying to become a professional, I just want to know how to take a good picture. My friend Trevor has been giving me some photo lessons and it's been really fun so far, especially using a film, rather than digital, camera.

I feel a little funny posting these photos. But I really love looking at pictures (who doesn't, right?) and figured they are supposed to be more for sharing than keeping to myself, yeah?

These are a few I took of my niece Isabelle and my friend Kimi...

For those of you wondering, yes, I did do my niece's hair:)

And p.s. I've decided that more pictures need to be taken at all times. It's pretty annoying when it's happening but so worth it afterwards. So, I'm not sayin' I'm just sayin'... be prepared.
