A Shower and a wedding update...

This past week I had a shower with my friends down in Provo. I have wonderful friends and it was so fun to see everyone! HUGE thank you to Natalie and Lisa, especially, for putting everything together:)

Wedding update: MY DRESS!!
I *finally* have my dress! And I am in love with it! It couldn't be more perfect. I wish I could post photos, but I don't want Matt to see it before the wedding:)

Last week Natalie introduced me to a super delicious ice cream shop in Provo called La Michoacana (1700 N State St). It is SOOOO worth going. And if you get to go with Natalie you'll love it *that* much more:)

I know this photo is burry, and I hope it doesn't give too many people a headache looking at it, but Natalie and I thought it was kind of cute blurry.

Also. Some of my amazing friends threw me a shower last Saturday. I really loved it so so much. It was so nice to get together with everyone and catch up. And the food was delicious! I should have taken a picture. Shout out to Catie and her amazing culinary skills!

Catie's Home!

My dear friend Catie returned home from a mission in South Korea last night. It was so exciting to see her and I'm so glad she's home 'cause I missed her kind of a lot!

Friends from the ASB...

Thursday night I had dinner with two very awesome people. I worked with Cindy (right) and Taryn (center) at the Administration Building(ASB)-my first job at BYU. I started there as a freshman and I think I worked there for almost 2 years. It was such an awesome job and I miss seeing their friendly faces more often. It really was so fun to catch up. Shout out to Cindy for setting it up and shout out to Whitney and Bethany who couldn't be there! Miss you guys! And, one more shout out to Taryn who is engaged and getting married at the end of August! Congrats!!

Also, yes. I am wearing pigtail braids:) It's probably my new favorite way to wear my hair.

Update...

It's nice to know a few people look at my blog every once and a while:) Sorry for taking so long to update!

So two Mondays ago I got engaged! I'm engaged! Yay!! It's still so surreal but every day I get more and more excited! Also, just saying, wedding planning... totally fun. At first I was completely overwhelmed thinking about all of the different aspects that go into planning, but after getting my head wrapped around things it's been a breeze so far and I really do love it. A lot:) I also have to thank all those who are patient with me when I keep asking their opinion about my crazy ideas:)

When Matt asked me it was so sweet and simple. Exactly how I would have wanted it. We're getting married in the Fall (doesn't that sound so romantic?:) and I'm so happy! My rings are still in the process of production but I hope to get them soon. I have a temporary ring right now, which is just as adorable as what my real rings will be.

This is a picture from this last weekend. Matt and I went to Park City with besties Kimi and Landon. Super delicious and totally fun:) I maybe look like I'm crushing him a little but I actually really love this photo a lot.

Washington D.C.

This is a little overdue.

I just loved visiting D.C. with Mal and Amy. Especially because they were so patient while I dragged them from school to school. I am oh so happy and grateful they traveled our nation's capitol with me. :)

Kimi: Made of Steel

My bestie Kimi ran in her first half-marathon this Saturday in Park City. Don't worry, she finished 16th in women's overall and first in her age group! I am still so excited for her and can't even handle how amazing she did. Seeing her afterwards was seriously so inspirational and I felt like I wanted to run a marathon or something just so I could even be half as awesome.

St. George...

I went to St. George with my friends Natalie, her brother Niels, and Benson. We stayed with the Schmutz family. They were some of the coolest/nicest/FUNNIEST people I have ever met. I laughed harder on this trip than I have in a long time!
